Brian poped around today and asked about getting oil pressure up

if it takes 20 secs stop and prime the pump.
if no oil after 20 secs.
wind with plugs out
Loosen the cooler pipe off the block, sometimes they get air lock there.

Just some additional info for you mate

I packed my oil pump with vasoline.. Wound it over with the plugs out and got oil pressure pretty quick. Then had to run the cam in once it started.

You can also use cam lube, it's pretty thick and won't drain off in a hurry.
