I was going through the shed today looking for stuff to get rid of.

I found a 29D Clubman GT dizzy. Took the cap off and it has a Luminition Magnetronic module in it.

I know nothing about this type of electronic ignition.

Anyone know about this brand of electronic ignition?

I googled this: http://www.ahspares.co.uk/products/LUMI ... LI199.aspx

Looks like it doesn't need a module unit out of the dizzy. Is that right?

Anton, I've not used one but I believe they are self-contained, like the Pertronix Ignitor is.

Yep they are good - set and forget like the others.

Just makes sure you retime after you install as the the timing can change slightly.

Cheers guys.

So this replaces the points and condensor?

What coil do I use?

The one that was with this dizzy is a BOSCH, and on the bottom it says GMH - Use With Resistor
