So the wiring is now back in the deluxe, (thanks david for the loom 8) ) And hooking up the interior light I can't remember which way the wires go.

Looking at the wiring diagram just gives me a headache, any clues as to which end has the PW and which just has the P?

PW = purple with white trace, P = Purple.

Oh, I am using a clubman light as it fits.

Thaks
Matt

Hi Matt,
Power is permanently to the switch and the earth is provided from the courtesy switches or the mounting screw, depending on where the switch is positioned. So, connect the powered wire to the unswiitched side of the light.

Regards
Al

Thanks Al,

I think that means solid purple to the left side of the switch! I'll have a look and see if that makes sense, thanks!

Matthew

Purple from unswitched power to one side of globe

Other side of globe to one side of switch -AND- to purple white to courtesy (door) switches

Other side of switch to earth

Thanks guys,

I have it hooked up that way, it all works until I throw the switch to operate the light without using the door switches.

Then it blows the bottom fuse (35 amp!).

Any ideas what to check?

Thanks

Matt
