It's not meant to go into the hilo, it's menat to go into a bolt that sits in the hilo, or a rear hydro rod for the rear. is this the problem?

cos as far as I know they only changed a little later on, and not to do with the diameter of the peg, only the height?? Am I right?

 id have to shoot myself if i ade that mistake 8)

the peg is very loose in the proper hilo tube(adjusta rides), or the bolt, which is odd, as both are from the same supplier, they are not cheep ones either.

there are two sizes, yes. the ones fitted to Minis with a shaft diameter of 1/2", will fit original Hilos, too.
and there are the ones with 14mm shaft, fited to Metros i've been told, also used with MiniSport Adjustarides

you may be able to get the brass you need from a hobby shop. They have brass tube of a particular ID that will slip over the knuckle to make another OD.

They make the brass tube particularly so it has an OD that will slide into the next ID. just gotta hope it can be bought iin that larger size (which I think it can)
