Anyone know the angle of the slope of the rear window? Would it be close to 80°?

I make it a bit under 70° according to my protractor.
It measures 65° relative to the driprail, but that runs downhill slightly at back.

Supercrap didn't have anything so I dropped into Rip-co and found this - think it looks nice and compact and it swivels within the housing to accomodate any angle - $30

Looks good- let us know how it copes with the glass curvature.

Bugger :? The centre is about 1/8" off the glass  I've dismantled it and figure the worst case I'll just fashion some clips to hold the LED strip each end direct to the window frame but before that I'll hit the case with a heat gun and try a bit of moulding to curve

I bought the same one and found the curve in the glass was a bother too. I then tried to build it up with double sided tape, but that didn't work. It fell off anyway.

So, now, all I've done is used velcro at each end only and that seems to be holding. I figure I can still take it off any time if I want to clean the glass.

The Hella one in my pic above fits pretty good, as it's short.
I might have to buy another, as mine copped a bit of primer overspray during painting... using thinners on it would probably bugger the clear plastic.

I have seen some in other minis but never in a shop and I don't have a pic, that have the LED's (similar to Wombats) but instead of sticking to the glass they have a leg at either end and stand/mount to the parcel shelf. From memory they have a carbon fiber look finish, them's is the ones I want  .
