In a pinch, last 2 I removed I was able to use an 8" length of 4"x2" timber and a BFH....though both engines were out of the vehicles

Place the piece of 4x2 through the starter motor hole, give it a couple of taps with the hammer (well, pretty good taps), spin the flywheel round a bit, and give a couple of more taps, keep doing this until, if your lucky, the flywheel slips off....

yes hammer worked thanks a gain jason....turns out my clutch hasnt even been working at all.......

Geez you wont know yourself with a working clutch then lol

How is old Cowra going these days....got some relo's around there, and grew up in Forbes....havnt been out either way for about 20 years so guessing it is still the same :lol:

its going ok i guess.....although its getting a bit smaller. but hopefully our council elections will change that, next time yopur in cowra you should pop around....i go to tafe in forbes 3 times a week.
