i have got a little bit of a problem i have 13 x 7 inch rims with sportspack arches and now that i have put metro turbo brakes on the car the tyres rub on the flares any ideas? will ajustable camber fix this?

metro turbo brakes run a wider track - the drive flanges are substantially thicker than for standard disk brakes. So your wheels are further out, you have more scrub radius, so the wheels move further forward and back, so hit on the flares. Adjustable arms might fix it a little, but more likely you're just going to have to jack up your suspension

edit: or get rid of the huge wheels

lifting the car up will help.
im running metro brakes but ive got 13x6 and i had huge rubbing problems
i just cut lots of metal away witch was covered buy the arches anyway...fixed my problem.i was not running sport pack arches though so i dont no if its possible to cut excess metal ??

?illegal?? so what happens to folk s with this set up if they need to claim insurance? A quick pit stop after the fact and change wheels?

There is no insurance on illegal cars. If the insurance company chooses they can cancel your insurance if you have an accident.
It is up to the owner to ensure the car is legal.

an id inspection isn't actually regency. this is the police side of things.
I have more trouble here than i do with a full compliance and roadworthy at regency.
Having the wheels under the guards doesn't make it legal, but it doesn't draw attention to the car. the more standard the car looks the easier it is.
Or you can do it up on sturt road on wed or thurs.

your wheel track should be front 1276 mm rear should be 1236 mm plus 25 mm which is 12.5 mm each side anything over that is totally illegal mine is 100mm over
it is measured from centre of tread to centre of tread.

That is a good theory as long as you get that chance.

But imagine this scenario... You are driving along at 48kph in a 50 zone when suddenly a little kid runs out between two parked cars and the kid hits the side of your car. The kid falls over backwards and hits it head on the ground. The kid is brain damaged and needs care for the rest of its life. The police at the scene initially say that you are not to blame but when the crash investigators arrive they notice that your car does not meet the roadworthy rules...
Then your third party personal insurance company says that you are not covered...
Then the family of the kid sue you because you were driving an unroadworthy car...
Opens can of worms...
