just went out and adjusted the brakes for the run tomorrow, i've got a beautiful firm pedal. rock solid. took it for a test drive, works fantastic.

I have about 2 inches of pedal travel, maybe less. is this too solid? it has less travel than the 97 festiva sitting in the driveway.

should i back it off just a little?

on the test drive a cruised downhill with the engine off to see if i could hear any scraping, but nothing. i also applied the brakes with the engine off, no squeak, no strange noise, just a nice, clean stop. which suggests to me that the pedal travel is ok

cheers all

(oh PS, drums all round)

How would you slacken them off?? Put some air back in??

You've done a perfect job of bleeding and adjusting the brakes.

You might smack your head on the windscreen tomorrow now because they're so good.
