i get a one metalic tock (i'm guessing that classed as a ping) on start up sometimes and thats its only when she just fires up. i think it's a little strange and would like to know if anyone else has had the same sort of thing and what is it? is it a problem?

she only does it on start up other then that quiet as a mouse when running.

cheers in advance.
Fiji.

Or maybe the big end bolts are loose !!! You better strip the engine and check before it blows apart.
