hey guys. i have found some wires under the car where the gear lever meets. would they be simply reverse cables?? if they come on the car... or does anyone know what they are if they are normal or anything hahahah!!! cheers

If your car has a rod-change gearbox there will be two wires running to the gearshift under the car for the reversing lights.
I think they were white (maybe with a trace?)

I seee thanks for that mate. yeah looks like there was a wire up there on the shifter... it must have snapped somehow at somestage, only just got the car so was trying to work out what they were for. it has no reversing lights though, might just rip em out.

They are green and one has a black trace.

Are you sure there is no reversing lights they work off the rear blinkers ,open the boot and check to see if ther is a single or double wire on the rear blinker base if single only no reverse lights
