I was wondering what gasket or seal for bulkhead where the heater hoses enter the cabin (and steady bar bolts to).

I initially thought to use master cylinder gasket (goes under the clutch & brake masters also) but the one I removed is a foam material. Are the standard master cyl gaskets paper or a foam/rubber material?

i use ice cream carton to seal off the holes for the heater hoses. I removed the heater from inside the car. So these are just blocked off. I cut the ice cream carton the same shape as the gasket.

Hi Alan,
The original Mk1 gaskets I've found are all a foam material, same on the heater fresh air hose blanking plate cover.

Regards
Al

Karcraft have them P/N NAM9197. I bought one a little while ago, it was a black foam rubber.
