I have a 1275 LS, mostly original except for the motor, and i have a 45 DCOE Weber on a 5- inch or 'mid-length' manifold (no cutting, you see) Only problem is, i've been told that i cannot run any ram tubes with an air filter, or i can have the filter, but no ram tubes. HELP! I've just finished the new 1293, but want to have both as i cant afford to ruin the new bore or lose new power with no ram tubes...

Any clues?

Yeap. Install the filter plate, then stub stacks on the filter plates, then the filter. Apparently stub stacks are just as good as proper ram tubes, cept for correct induction length...

I wouldn't run without filters!
