I installed a Honda CR80 radiator in mine (just one side). I figure it has to cool better than a heater core - it was designed to cool water, not heat air.

That's what I did. I would plumb it in after your heater so your heater stay's hot. I even put some computer fan's on it to come on with the thermo fan.

I'm sure others have shown 100 and 1 ways of plumbing in an auxilary radiator.

it's going very good.

comfy ride ;)

just want to do this extra cooling.

im tossing up with a heat core or a small bike rad.

looking at this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aluminum ... 1737wt_941

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Universa ... 1293wt_941

or just the small little heat core. will be running thermo fan no plastic fan.

Glad it's going well for you and yr happy with the suspension.

IMO, the first rad is the better of those 2, but I'd also suggest looking for a copper one.

The second one is too thick to be of any real value.

Just make sure it has 1/2" outlets otherwise you will also have to buy adaptors to make all the hoses mate up. That's why I picked mine.

ive used a heater core in the past... it works fine, however you have to ensure you have a good water pump, as you are expecting the water to be pushed around much much further and you need to keep the flow happening or else your going backwards... my 2 cents
