hey i was wondering if someone could tell me what the red light under the middle clock on a rover set of tripple dash clocks means as mine has been on and off here and there over the last 2-3 days and the writing has worn off of it..

From memory oil is on the left.
Which should be amber, and red for your alternator.

Cheers

Check the pulley is tight on the alternator, if its loose it'll slip at higher revs and the light will come on. If its on at idle and low revs, its the alternator itself.
