i've changed a few of the ancilliaries on my motor to try and get a more reliable set up...
it's an 1100S donk with some sort of lumpy cam, lcb's and now a hif44 and Aldon yellow dizzy...
as i've changed both the dizzy and carb at the same time i'm trying to find a base point, i'd like to be able to drive it to the eventual tuner rather than have to stuff around with a trailer...
i'm trying to follow these instructions..
http://www.minimoke.net.au/rest_carbie.htm
it sounds pretty good with heaps of advance (?) on the dizzy (turned quite clockwise) but i can't get it to idle below about 2500rpm...
if i turn the dizzy back to get a lower idle it just runs like poo poo
also the centre branch of the extractors gets pretty red hot, pretty quickly.. i'm not used to an A series running red hot?
any suggestions?
