Sunshine had a sunroof, a special vacuum operated one.

Jake, a sunshines body # 022X2S2M09. Check your compliance plate, as your rego sticker can sometimes have a 5 in place of a S!

The Sunshine had the same prefix as a Mini S. You can't tell by looking at the compliance plate.

Finaly a question i can answer and know what i'm talking about.

The sunshine is a leyland mini s but with more extras. The sunshine came out with a sliding sunroof with stainless rails like in this pic, the visor should be trabsperant also this isnt the right glass

Because of the sunroof leyland added this reinforcement to the roof

The sunshine also had factory tinted windows, pinstripes down each side and some shiney decals that said sunshine in retro 70's writing.

I could go on for a while but i think i'll stop now

More info can be found here

& it`s not a "Clubman sunshine",,, a "Clubman" is a much earlier model with hydrolastic suspension & 1098cc engine & & & ,,, it just so happens to "Look" very much like the same car,,, but it`s not,,,, clubmans stopped in 1972

so if it`s 1973 or later then it would be a a "Leyland mini" or a "Leyland mini S" or a "Leyland mini sunshine" or a "Leyland mini SS" or a "Leyland mini LS" or ,,,ah you get the picture :-)
