Just picked up an ex tarmac 'Mini 1000 series' shell that was last CAMS log booked in 1997.

No ID plate. Car number on firewall is 236**. Radiator shroud number is 231**. Can only see the 'M2' but not the numbers underneath.

Has 3 screw tail lights and 850 sliding doors. Has been running a remote and can see where pudding stirer has been but welded (or factory) closed.

Not sure if it is an 850 or Deluxe body? Morris any ideas?

Have a look at the door latches on the door opening on the body which one of these

I think it is a Deluxe. Probably early 67. I could be wrong though!

Any signs of hydro pipes?
Does the firewall have an extra dent where the master cylinders sit on an LHD car?

I think you are right. Pulled the ignition switch out and has 66 number on it. Looks like holes at the rear where hydro covers were.

A 66 should be right for that car number if I am right. The other electrical items all have dates too if you can find them. Maybe the boot lock as well but on a race car this is fairly unlikely!
The firewall pressing is probably the easiest clue, along with the door latches.
