 Post subject: is this normal ?

i was about to wire wheel the top arms i pulled off the moke when i noticed that oen had a metal square welded onto it..

is this normal ?

Yep...don't wire wheel in the kitchen! :lol: BUT do wear lots of protection, and not just for the eyes...those little wires can fly off at a great rate of knots.

Yes, late mokes have those square blocks welded on. Many fall off as the small welds crack. I don't run them on my moke as I set the ride height lower than standard.

Same.

And my bump stops are modified also.

I have about 10mm (maybe less... actually definitely less) of travel between my bump stop and the top arm.
