Just purchased a cheap AAH-OOH-GAH horn for my mini. Came with zero instructions on how to install it also. Says its for 12V 3A power so hope this will work. Has a red and black pos and neg cable and one nut and bolt. So first question. Where do I wire it to and were do I mount it? Has anyone installed one of these ebay horns? Will prob try on weekend but would like some advise before.

cheers, btw its for 98 rover cooper

Take the existing horn out, cut the plug off the end and crimp on new suitable insulated spade terminals. I think purple wire is positive.
Mount the horn anywhere you can - your engine bay is pretty full.

Plenty of room in a 97 - I've got twin magnums in there.

Or if you want to do it properly use the existing horn wires to trigger a Relay. Feed the relay a decent 12 volt supply (Fused) and take the horn power from the relay it will work better and will not melt your horn switch.
