They look OK, probably are well made but how much are they?

Next time I buy any (having experienced both Minispares and Minisport ones) I would go for these- http://www.med-engineering.co.uk/catalo ... rocker-set

Thanks for that but I just did a bit of googling and found:
http://www.smithfast.com/klocknuts.html

Quote:
A hex nut pre-assembled with a free spinning external tooth lock washer. The locking action is achieved when the nut is tightened against a bearing surface as the teeth of the lock washer dig into it.

I guess this is the one thing I have to learn each day! 8)

ive used yella terra products on a number of V8's. they make a good product, i have used them once on a a-series years ago. they still do make them you just have to ask im pretty sure from memory they are full roller rocker, the tip is roller and shaft bearing is roller, i think they make them as you need them. as its a very small turnover part, not like the V6 and V8 rockers they sell.
i hope this helps you KLAS.

I reckon for $1100 you could buy better rockers elsewhere for an A series.
Even Titans would be much cheaper.

I've not used YT roller rockers on a Mini but I have got them on my Rover V8. Nicely made, full roller set up and needed to fit grub screws to ther oilways in the heads to prevent flooding the rocker covers with oil at high revs. Like somebody said, they are a bit on the noisy side, and they are expensive to buy.

Only issue I had (somewhat surprisingly) was breaking the end of a shaft at high revs where it overhangs the end pedestal. To fix this I made up some cradle shaft supports so that the overhanging ends can't flex so much.
