Hey team , thought I'd run this past here and see what local guys are running on their minis for both daily and track/hillclimb/etc

What do you lot run or recommend for shocks?
What about rubber cones- oem , red or yellow dot ?

Interested to see what setups are here on Aussie roads cheers

Hi there,

Im running the red dots, and they are a bit stiffer than the original cones, however in using them for over 3 months i have found them satisfactory.
In any case i did try out the coilovers and have to say didnt enjoy the ride one bit, too stiff and not enought wieght in the back causing it to bounce around.

Thanks for the reply

Yeah looking at red dots, what shocks do you run? Lowered at all?
I haven't considered proper coil over suspension at all, the geometry just doesn't look right in place of the shocks ! Plus I've heard its bouncy and requires much more setting up
