I have a electrical issue with my clubman, when its running, the tacho reads normally, when I turn the headlights on, the revs on the tacho dip to half, say its doing a 1000 rpm, it dips to 500, and the right blinker comes on, but doesn't flash, I thought it maybe a earth issue, I clean up all the earths, but nothing change.

Any advice would be great.

Are we talking a 3 clock dash or an aftermarket tacho?
If std 3 clock dash is it a current or voltage sense tacho?

Cheers Shane

My guess would be the earth side of your car electrical system. Check your earth for lights as it seems that when lights are turned on is when the problem occurs.

Make sure everything to do with the right headlight and blinker is ok at the globe, electrical problems can back track in weird ways.
