hi,
Is anyone else finding the quality of the tie rod end ball joint rubber boots a bit lacking these days?
Once upon a time ago they used to out last or be on par with the useful life of rod end itself, but these
days seem to deteriorate with in a year or so. Is there anywhere you can buy just the boots? I've tried
a couple of mini store online catalogues but can't find them listed on their own. Does anyone now of a
place that sells them in OZ?

thanks

Yep I agree with ykg2s4's initial post.
My Tie rod ends are less than 2 years old, car has done <1000k's since then, and both boots completely perished. Purchased from a well known UK supplier. Will have to grab some boots from Karcraft.

Just an idea I've used before, the dust boots off wheel cylinders fit and are usually good quality rubber type material.
