Now that my car is registered and driving well the things that I ignored previously are becoming annoying.
Both doors do not line up with the rear guards.

I have adjusted the catches in as far as possible, and also the door guide.
Image
The catches are a little worn, about 1 to 2mm but this will not give me the 3 to 4mm that I need.
The lock tongues are not worn, so this is OK.
Here is the door seal that is fitted.

Is this the right seal :|
Other than belting the seal mount around the door frame in :( what are my options :?

Phil

Phil - your car is one of the best I've seen for door alignment.
Just leave it knowing many are worse!

Thanks Harley
I just looked at the Minispares site and they suggest this
http://minispares.com/product/Classic/B ... 0to%20shop
This should cure the problem I have along with new catches. Maybe :|

Could just remove the rubber seal on it now and see whether there is any difference, save you forking out on new swals that may not be actually needed

I have an 850 seal from minisport UK http://www.minisport.com/24a1351-seal-d ... mk1-2.html but it is a hard as :( ,way harder than the on currently on there.
Are there different versions of this seal. Needs to be a super soft one.

I'd try the 850 seals from Karcraft or minikingdomonline.

I might take my sample along and see if theirs is significantly softer.
The one I have from minisport UK is 24A1351. Minispares and minisport AU list the seal as XGA9934 ?
