 Post subject: Direct gear change shaft

I have the diff housing for an 850 direct gear change and I have removed the remote control shaft.
Is there a spring behind the nylon seat inside the shaft head below, and how do I get the seat out :|

Yes there is a spring,
screw a small tap or ezy out or a big self tapper into the cup. Then pull it out.

I bent a bit of stiff wire and shoved it in and pulled it out :D
