What CVs are you using, if the nuts are stripping it will allow the discs to move causing pad knock off big time, when you bleed the brakes do you have a good pedal and then loose it after a drive, check the bearings in the hub and make sure it is not collapsing, what tension are you pulling the castelated nut up to, some of the sports sedans have broken the CVs but they usually break the drive shafts untill they use special ones of those

Wish I was close enough to pop around but PM me if I can help

Jon

the castle nuts i think need a spacer the brakes do not go hard i was thinking that also due to the angle on the loose disc

You should have a tapered washer between the nut...

without seeing what you have done, and what brakes you are using (I assume Metro's)

it's a bit hard to speculate. However if your cars been runnin on loose bearings it's time to buy a set of timken Taper bearings for your front's and upgrade the old ones.

check the font pads for unevenwear, and the disc's for out of round, replace as nessacary, don't risk dodgy brakes.

inspect calipers for bends or cracks, same goes for them.

when the new taper bearings are in and greased up, put that funny looking tapered washer in and then the castleated nut, tourque it down slowly, rotating the disk as you go to keep the bearing all square to 200-270Nm (150-200 lbf ft)

I would set my torque wrench to 230Nm this compensates for any imperfections

Love it.

Talk to Steve @ Brickworx Racing if you'd like side repeaters (clear or amber) to finish off the Sportspack flares.
