Thanks Dicko, remind me to buy you a beer at the Muster.
Anyway, had a frustrating weekend on the car, whereby I spent a lot of hours on the car but just didnt seem to get a lot done.
Cam came around today and tacked the intercooler pipes together, so he could take the back to the workshop and fully weld them up there. The water tank for the windscreen washer came back, but has to be modified a bit to take the pump (sorry Cam!)
The brackets for the oil cooler were completed, and I will test fit it through the week. It should be spot on because we test fit it in situ.
I spent most of the day screwing around with the doors, and the door locks and locking mechanisms. Its not a s easy as it sounds, as I have to mate the Mini stuff, with the new Civic external handle, and the Mini internal handle with the new door card - lovely!

I gotta tell you, I was really frustrated today!! I had to rebuld the lock, with Dan's (badassmini) help, and I still didnt get it finished.
Anyway, what I did get finished wss the electric windows, and here is some pics. In the end, really, really easy!
This is the winding mechanism and motor drive installed. Some cutting was required.
With the door card on:
The winding machanism was almost flush with the door card, but not quite.
So, a small cap, which is suuplied with the kit, is used to hide the winder shaft' This will be painted the same colour as the door card so it will blend in.
Will post more tomorrow guys, tired, off to bed.
Ciao,
Tricky
