Funny you say that I spent 2 days on
It last week, Matt read was kind enough to help me sort my starter out
So hopefully the high torque starter has the proper gear for my verto ring gear now.

I'm charging up the déka battery hooking up the pipes for fuel
And gonna get the crank angle sensor right and kick
It into life.. :)

slight little update

the other day i got my new front mount rad, I changed direction.

I did not want to cut the body with the other rad no & my aircon i would have had to, this new one involves no cutting.. :D

ebay bargain, just getting one or the pipes modified & moving the cap to the back.

everything is now plumbed in & hopefully monday will fire her up for the first time :)

happy to be proven wrong, but it doesn't look much like that'll have enough capacity, cores or cooling area to do anything other than get in the way of the starter motor & clutch....

It's alloy, it's the same size as a Morris 1100
Rad bigger the a mini, it's in the front and will get plenty of air

I doubt it will have any problems, I'll run a extra expansion tank also..

The bike it come from is a 150bhp odd, I think it will be fine

I'll let you all know, as I'm putting one on the swift gti mini also.

I'm looking at the thickness of it, the fact that there's only one core and the amount of space between the gills

that doesn't mean much - motorbikes don't have nearly as much work to do. Do you think the brakes from a 150bhp motorbike would stop a 150bhp car?

motorbike engines are alloy, which means they have a lot of cooling through the metal itself. Motorbikes weigh a lot less than a car and have significantly less drag, meaning the engine doesn't work as hard to accelerate or maintain speed. Motorbike engines don't have heavy flywheels, heavy gearboxes, heavy wheels, big alternators, air conditioners or superchargers to drive... different needs altogether

like I said, happy to be proven wrong :)

Hi NG,
Nice to see the progress. If normal Mini size radiator works fine on the side bigger alloy one at the front will work better, Most of the new cars do not have big opening at the front as much as Mini.
