A mate of mine has a new Pearce Castings 7 port alloy head, however in order to avoid valve spring crush
with the cam he's using he needs to fit valves that are 100 thou longer in the stem. He says he cannot find anyone that can manufacture these in Australia or Britain.

Can anyone recommend a company that can produce these valves? They are not something weird just standard Cooper S valves that need to be a slightly longer.

I thought getting valves made to order was not that difficult to source, but he says that's not been his experience.

I have the valves you want a little bit bigger in dia than the ones you have but they work really well in those heads give me a ring.

G&S Valves in the UK will make any type/size of valve you want. The problem will be the cost. I know GR has offered valves, but for the record I think Richard Longman here in the UK may be able to help out as he has longer stem valves to work with the roller spring platforms he giot in to fitting.

What you need are different valve caps. Talk to MED they don't list them but if you ask nicely you might be lucky. I have a spare set here somewhere.

Slide, get 2 sets from MED and I'll take one set.
May as well make the postage worthwhile!

Please PM me with costs etc.
