Hi all,

What steering wheel is this and what model mini does it belong to?

That looks like the Mini K steering wheel I'm after but should be a BMC and not Leyland

It looks to me like a Morris 1500 wheel

Here is the wheel that was on the Mini K (taken off and used on a Moke by the previous owner which is why I'm after another)
Apparently it should be a BMC logo and not a Leyland one-is this correct?

Don't think a Mini K would have a BL logoed steering wheel. I'm guessing it's from a Clubman...

they were common across all MK2 minis and at least early leyland minis, and lots of other BL cars of the time - the BMC badging was chaged to Leyland at some point during MK2 production

My 7/70 MK2 S had Leyland on it (till I found a BMC to replace it, which came from a Morris 1300)

It appears then that the Leyland-badged wheel on my Mini K was possibly the original and correct one.
A Leyland one will do me then as I don't think I'll find a BMC badged one in a hurry as they seem to be as rare as rocking horse crap!

The little badge just pops out of the rubber centre pad anyway, easy to swap. As said it was a pretty generic wheel for a few years and not just mini. Yes Morris 1500 and Nomad used it too.
