I had a front end wheel alignment done this morning after fitting adjustable lower arms and tie bars. It drives really nice now!

Trailered the Moke to Readspeed and trailered it home again without an engine. Time for the mid 80's power unit to get a professional freshen up since it still has original pistons and rings.

I've got the Mk2 cylinder over at HM Gem getting a clean up, new exhaust valve guides. New inlets & exhaust valves. Thanks Matt the Miniman for the prompt service in getting the parts up.
Stripped down the gearbox with a bit of difficulty. Ended up making a tool for the 3rd motion bearing, just a semi circle piece of gal pipe. Just need a couple bits need for reassembly. 3-4 outer syncro hub, a new nut for the 1st motion shaft and no shim behind 3rd motion brg retainer. Finance manager has put a hold on purchasing this week.

I saw the advert for the twinky head on the forum/eBay and almost bid but decided the freight would be a pain so I looked at gumtree and waddayaknow, there's a k1100 engine for sale in Brisbane. $330 including gearbox, wiring etc.

Couldn't help myself! Another project on the list, maybe.

Bought myself a colortune and a carbalancer from Gunson

Just brilliant
I had one carb set to much fuel and the idle set to high on the other.
Really it was only a slight adjustment but good to know I now have it set correctly
