I have. Three clips per side are screwed in to the headlight retaining ring. I bent the clips a little to hold the mesh on better

I've had them on my clubby for years with no broken glass to date. The above pic from timmy201 shows fitment.
If you angle them slightly you can get a subtle angry-eyes look, or sad if you go the other way. :)

I prefer the mesh guard that sits under the headlight ring without clips

are the ones you are describing the actual mini ones though?

I had trouble fitting them up to my Clubman when attempting to fit them as timmy has. they would not fit behind the headlight surrounds/grill, even when i cut the clips down to pull the covers further back to the headlight. I ended up attaching them to the headlight surrounds and it still looks pretty good

I have this type... one time I had a filament go so replaced the light with a newie, then I looked at the difference between the new light and the old light on the other side and OH MY GOD THERE WAS A LOT OF CRAP ON THE LIGHT!!! the mesh makes it pretty hard to clean the headlights

I have already bought them it was one of those "that might look nice" purchases. After trying to fit them they may end up on the garage wall[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

I did some modification of the clips with some needle nose pliers to get them to stay on better.
