Yes it was a cheap fix. Pity I spent 3 nights trying to find the fault as the original flasher can would still pass a current, just not enough for the light to work.
Decided to check all the lights tonight ready for Rylstone and as I turned the headlights on the RH one flashed on and then went out.
Luckily I had 2 H4 headlights that I'd been meaning to fit so now have. Gee there white :D
