Hey all, just finished a disc brake conversion on my deluxe, and all is running well except the brake lights. Have checked fuses, and cleaned tabs and connectors at the fuses. Any ideas, tips to check?

The switch might have decided to retire, you can check it with wire across terminals.

New hydraulic switches don't seem to last. After buying 2, I fitted a clubby switch to the pedal instead.

How'd you mount the clubby switch doc? Do the brake lights only work when the car is running?

I bolted a piece of thin steel angle to the pedal box. Brake lights work as normal, with ignition on.
They come on before the brakes build pressure, = safer for the dude behind you than with the hydraulic one.

Colin Dodds of Sprite Club NSW sold me a good one, not sure if he still has some from the same batch? He tests them all. Give him a ring

Thanks goodie, sorry for my slow response, I only got time to check out your suggestion today! Exactly what had happened - wires had worked loose from the switch for some reason. A mate/mechanic from the club had done the conversion and I am still learning the ropes! Appreciate the help and comments from all!
