Am after verification of the correct brake booster type for an January compliance plated 1970 Mk2 S.

Various websites state that "early" MK 2 S have the Lockheed type, I thought the PBR 44 was the correct one.

Thoughts ?

The change over at YG2S4 1614 in Mar 1970 does seem very late but I have gone through my photo collection and it appears to be the case. Almost half of the MK2 S's had a Lockheed booster.

well there you go... I was looking under the bonnet of a YG2S4 somewhere in the 1800's that had a lockheed booster and MK1 type heater - I know it was a '70 because he was telling me about how the painter tried to knock off his ID plate. I thought the booster seemed sus...... I didn't want to pick and poke at it, but I think he said it had a MK1 engine # too
