I am looking for a supplier of the various stickers that were stuck in the engine bay of a Australian built 1978 Leyland Mini.

For example "Hot run and tested" from the rocker cover, the 'Dulon E Type" paint sticker, tyre pressure chart printed on foil, Corrosion inhibitor warning, vehicle emissions.

Can anybody point me in the direction of a supplier?

Thanks!

Great, thanks a lot! Will give them a try. Since my original post, I found a bloke in NZ that also makes them ($NZ4.70 each). Apparently his are printed onto vinyl and he suggests for the foil backed stickers, to stick his vinyl ones to foil BBQ/oven drip trays, cut around them then glue them to the inner guards. Sounds like a neat trick but not sure how close they will look to the originals. At least that's another option.

Thanks again!

I'm not sure if the later minis got a hot run sticker but if they did it would be the Leyland version not BMC.

Unfortunately it looks like the only sticker that MiniSport and Mini Kingdom offers is the 'Hot Run Tested" one, for the rocker cover. None of the other Australian Leyland Mini ones rate a mention in their catalogue. The rocker cover one is a start but I will need to keep looking.

I have located a NZ supplier of Leyland Mini stickers which look very authentic and are of excellent quality, just what the keen restorer needs! Everything but the Duco paint stickers are available.
Cost $NZ 4.70 each plus postage. Contact Steve at classicminispares.co.nz

I have no connection with this company other than being a satisfied customer.

I believe th P76 club of NSW have the Duco paint stickers available but only for the colours that were available on the P76.

Do you know where the tyre pressure chart would have been placed on a late Clubby?

Mine was stuck on the top of the inner guard on the passenger side of the car, in front of the bracket where the bonnet rod fits when the bonnet is open. You might be able to just see it in this photograph (not at all clear because the sun was reflecting off it). I will try to get you a better pic in the next few days when I have access to an original car.

Note that the NZ replica sticker is a little bit different - same size, same print but it has different headings. The original had "Mini & Mini van" over the first two columns, and the third column was left blankblank. The reproduction is headed "Mini 1100 & Van - Mini Clubman" over the first two columns, and has "Mini Clubman" over the third column with a series of tyre pressures in that column. Only the very picky would notice the difference!

Neil

Cheers Neil.

I'll have to get the emissions sticker as well.

Here is the repro paint sticker I got from the NZ shop:

Thanks Miniandrew, that's a very kind offer. I have ordered one from NZ if they have them. They are only $4.70 each - but it's not about the cost, just the availability. I'd like to support Steve in NZ if he can supply as he's gone to the trouble and expense of getting these reproduced. If he can't supply within a reasonable time frame then I reckon it would be OK to take you up on your offer.

Looks like Eiles has an unused sticker.
