Now drove home tonight, realized I did not have a rear left hand flasher, no light either, but solid amber to the front. I would be guessing there isn't enough load without the rear globe to get the front to flash, should not be the flasher unit as the right hand works fine. Thoughts?

I also noticed a black/white or a white/black wire loose, with a bullet connector around the same location as the connection to the indicator stalk. I had a quick look and didn't notice a corresponding wire, will go have a better look tomorrow. I also had a look at some wiring diagrams and the only bw or wb wire was coil related. (all for a oct 78 Leyland mini S)

I can only say that if a globe is gone the flasher usually flashes quickly. Check the globe then the wiring.. Can you see where the wire goes to?

In terms of the indicator it was the globe, the man at bursons was confused about that fact that it had twin "nodes" on the bottom, hey it works so I said match it and he did.

The wire appears to go to the coil and I am guessing it is a feed to the Coil for a tac, Handy for when I actually put that in.

Would anyone with a '78 LS or similar with a factory tac. be able to check if they have a white wire with black trace going to their coil please?
