For police 1.5" carbys is the needles supposed to be CP4 's with blue springs ?

CP4 with red springs I think they had.
I had them on Barney's 1293 but found it went better with #6 needles.

Midel's SU catalogue for popular applications recommends for 2 X 1 1/2 inch SUs have MME (rich); CP4 (std); 7 (lean); BLUE spring.
I have tried all 3 but run CP4. Obviously depends on cam and other things.
Police used CP4 with blue spring in their packs.

I have had Cp4s in my Cooper S for years with a few different cams and head mods. Seem to work well and never had any issues when the car has been dyno tuned.
