Hi sounds like you are working on a later Mini, if you have a plastic block type connector? I managed to install a new rear loom into my 850 (with intact one piece headlining) by feeding a length of parachute cord through to use as a pull-through (but any strong flexible cord would do). I attached this before removing the old loom, pulled the old loom out towards the back, then attached the cord to the new loom with some knots and duct tape to help smooth it out and ease it through. I didn't have any major problems at the front (it was tight though even with the old bullet connectors), but I did have dramas at the back with something catching around the C pillar and cant rail area. Eventually I got it into place, but it wasn't fun. Be patient, and take your time would be my advice... Good luck. The Vinwire looms are excellent - look after it!
Hi tartanred,
Car is a 67 deluxe the loom is brand new the headlining is removed. I am able to insert some chord through to use as a pull through but it doesn't pull through easily! I might have to use a little more force... will give it a try. thanks for your input.
