In regards to false lean reading (this did cross my mind) - according to the MTX-L manual, exhaust leaks can cause false leans - but under full load it generally isn't affected.
Might be worth leaving possibly for now.. I'm going to take it to a zorst shop to get new clamps ect - they're buggered!
