Yeah I might be able to doc. I will have to have a look through this posts to have a look how he done it. The cable I have is fairly long.

See how you go but when Tadhg (user on here) was looking to do the same thing, he ended up getting a 90° drive off of someone that had a spare but it was the wrong threads to suit the speedo.

I ended up machining some different parts to suit the one he got:

I don't have a pic of it all together sorry. Just keep this in mind that not all 90° speedo angle drives are the same.

The one on the left is the new electronic speedo from smiths. The other is a standard speedo with a smiths angle drive we have recast

Could use a 1:1 90deg speedo drive box and a longer cable? How Lillee here did it.

I have a Group-N sized weber box that makes all of this impossible

Lillee does too, so he also moved the speedo binnacle into the car. Years ago when I was a wee lad, there was a 2"? spacer sold for this very purpose.

I made my own, but used the original odometer tumbler - I don't like the digital display

I'm making one too. Mine will use stepper motors to drive the needle and to turn the odometer. I haven't decided what to do with the fuel gauge yet.

Tim

that's easy.... my fuel gauge is standard, but the temp gauge has a little servo in it with the needle glued on to the arm. Fuel gauge can work the same way

Has anyone fitted one of these yet?

I'm thinking of biting the bullet and putting one in my deluxe!
