Maybe the Aussie made stuff had the larger bore hose? I'll have a look in John Sneddons book to see if there is a mention of it.

Good news, I've heard back from the supplier, some new hoses on the way and we'll see how that goes!

Bollock's! Just broke my original link pipe at the 'T' piece fitting it to the car, but I'm glad I did now. It was rotten! looked good with shinny paint but under the paint? So I would suggest a careful inspection for anybody using an original part! can you imagine the mess if I'd filled both tanks and it had let go............................
