Hi Fellow Mini Mad Members,
I have been doing some research lately on the best OEM Seats upgrades for a Morris Mini Mk1.
There are some pretty interesting second hand seats available that look good but I am unsure if they fit.
I have been told that GTI Swift seats are a good idea and have seen some of these on YouTube in mini's with upgraded interior.
I still need the kids to be able to get in the back seats so whatever the option is they will need to slide and fold forward to enable this to happen.
Have any members upgraded their seats by obtaining them from a more modern vehicle?
Cheers,
Zulu

Early (NA/NB) MX-5 seats fit and fold, I'm not sure about later ones but I believe they fit.

Toyota mr2 seats went into mine nicely and allow enough room to get in the back easily enough. I offset them more to the centre to allow the use of the seat adjustments with the door pockets but it also corrects the off centre steering wheel and pedals.

Seats need to be from a two door car.

Is that a road rules requirement? or just if you want people in the back?

So they fold/slide forward and you can get in the back. ;)
