Hi

Does anyone know the cam timing for this cam ... im trying to set one up at the moment , but i cant find any figures on it
its this camshaft here ..

Yellow book says the VP8C is 102° LCA, IMO that's about where you would (conventionally) time it in at.
But the book doesn't specifically say.

Also if its a cam that you've bought recently, what it says in the yellow book might not apply, they're proflies are constantly changing. I was looking at a VP3 about a year ago and the spec has changed since the yellow book was written.

yeah if i had thought of it before i would have asked APT , but alas i didnt

Phone a friend who has the same Cam and paper work and it looks like 101.5 degrees is the go ..

cam is timed and engine is in the car ..

Has anybody got a dyno sheet showing how much TORQUE they got from an installed VP8C cam?
