G B Y 1980 BMC Apple Lack 228 C BMC-623

I have a 1980 Moke Painted from the Factory in what I think is the above Factory Colour. "Apple Lack"
There is no paint sticker fitted in the usual places.
Apparently it was only used in 1980
Is anyone familiar with this colour or have a Pic of a car painted in it?

Many Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

First I've heard of Apple Lack being a Leyland Australia colour. It's not on the paint colour card for that period. Is your Moke an Oz built vehicle. Perhaps it's a UK or other country colour.

Hi Doug,
Australian Built 1980 Californian Moke AKFPB prefix.
Besides Apple Lack, what other options?
Cheers Dave

Here's the paint charts for that period.

The guys on the Oz Moke forum will probably know - https://www.mokeforum.com.au/index.php

If you don't want to sign-up I can ask on your behalf.

Probably best if I take a Pic and post it up.
That way you will be able to see the colour I am referring to.
Cheers

I have a s/hand Jade Green Dulon sticker if anyone wants it.

Not perfect but useable. Not that there would be many Jade Green makes out there, I would imagine.
