Did you put seals in the slave cylinder, or the master cylinder??
If it's been standing long I'd do both. And the brakes....

I have had a few clutch problems lately, but have a new set-up now and it's performing flawlessly (touch wood!!).

I have an Extra Heavy Duty Diaphragm from Karcraft (can't remember the colour code - orange dot maybe??). When I put that in, it of course then brought out the hydraulic problem which had been hiding.

Luckily, my master cylinder was good, so I was just going to re-do the slave. I bought the kit and the hone, but then heard of a great conversion.

Get yourself an XA-XB Falcon slave cylinder. The bolt holes line up perfectly, and the hose fitting is the same size. It has a longer travel than a Mini one, so you never have to worry about bending the clutch arm etc - there's heaps of room for adjustment. They're also cheaper than Mini ones - you should be able to pick up a brand newie for around 30 bucks.

The only problem I had was you need to turn the flexible hose to get it to line up with the different hose inlet point on the slave. My fitting between the copper line and the flexible line was seized and we couldn't get the hose to sit right. A friend of a friend can get braided lines made up cheap, so I now have a nice stainless braided line direct from master to slave - no copper at all. The clutch has never worked better, and although a little heavy, has awesome feel to it. The braided line looks neat too. I might try and get a photo of the setup if anyone's interested.

Bob..... any luck with those pics of your setup? I'm very interested due to the fact that i'm getting the inkling that my slave cylinder may be f__ked which has inturn caused my inability to find gears on Slidey......
