meeni it may not be worth that to you BUT remember over there it is leagal to reshell a car and that means it is worth that money

Could be a 1071 S 8) Speedo is correct....
I will check the numbers, my guess is it will get reshelled and be worth $30,000 + !! :shock:

Engine number is incorrect, but chassis number fits with late 1071and B reg (plate) is 64, If he has found the log book, there is every chance this car could be reshelled, but retain it's identity, there are ways and means over there! 8) The view is that a bodyshell is just another replaced part, like a clutch or a bearing, you just have to add up enough of the original cars components, and get a nice letter from the Mini Cooper register! :P

I am not suprisewd at the price if it is a 1071. :wink:
