New everything except 12 month old slave, hydraulic parts are moving and so is the arm as far as I can tell. Ive tried adjusting for it with and without return spring, pedal is stiff as a board. Like a good brake pedal. Tiny bit of clutch activation right at the floor if forced.
Halp!

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

If slave cylinder is aftermarket it may have no seal spreader inside.
These hold the seal lip against the bore. Without it air gets sucked in on the pedal upstroke.
AP cylinders have it, the cheap ones don't. Maker thinks not needed...!

Spreader is not available new but if you need one PM me, I still have a few spares I made a while ago.

Yeah both new. So is the bearing and clutch.
Definitely not the pedal. I was going to remove the slave and check it next.
I'll take you up on that, doc. Pm sent

I have used one of Kevs spreaders. They work well.

I believe it was the slave. Ive cleaned it up and waiting for the spreader. I don't think the arm or plunger are the issue so hopefully this works!

Pretty sure Matt Read has had them remade.

I posted it in a jiffy bag on Tuesday, if it's not there near Newcastle yet, Australia Post is slacker than I thought. :(

Yeah they always are for me. It might even be a block away at another house with the same number.

Got it early this week, installed it and cleaned the slave up. Seems to be working, though it feels tight. Further investigation needed! Thanks doc
