Hey guys

I'm looking for a new headling for my '72 clubman. I'm chasing something as original as possible.
So far im looking at getting one from either

Mini Kingdom: https://minikingdomonline.com.au/produc ... -kit-mini/

Mini Sport: https://minisport.com.au/mini-sedan-roo ... land-white

Newton Commercial: https://newtoncomm.co.uk/collections/au ... 1125148808

Does anyone have any experience with these or other sources?

Cheers

I have fitted several headlinings. I have had one made by an upholsterer and I've made one myself using the Ford 'mooncrater' pattern, which seems to be commonly available.
The original Austn material is NLA according to most people. The Newton Commercial one is fairly close to the original Austn texture and it fitted well on one car and I have another set ready to fit to the Mk2. Get their "white" not cream. Their 'C' pillar covers were well shaped and thin enough to fit under the window rubbers at the rear, which can be a problem if the backing board is too thick.
I don't know about Mini King or Mini Sport products.

Thanks Bill, i wasn't sure how they'd go with making an Australian spec headliner.

They fit well - each panel was the right shape and size. From memory, their instructions include the colour sequence for the metal stays but they were not in the right sequence compared to what came out of my car. Just make your own notes first.
The one minor criticism was they post the hoodlining folded and after fitting it took a long time for the creases to disappear.

I have bought from Newton Commercial twice, on both occasions I bought their HL3005 kit (Riley Elf / Wolseley Hornet Mk II) and the matching sun visors.
