Hi, can anyone please advise me of the correct colour (and ideally code) for the wheels for a September 1962 997cc Cooper?

I'm not sure if the Australian assembled cars wheels should be OEW or silver?

Thanks

Paul

Not being a 'Smart A' here, but I wouldn't know the correct colour would be, but didn't early Cooper's have a full wheel trim hub cap?

No problem, maybe I should have explained better. I have the full size Cooper hub caps but my wheels are in poor condition so I'm getting them blasted and painted. I just thought when I'm going to that trouble I would paint them the correct original colour and even though the hub caps are full size I definitely think you can see the colour of the paint on the wheel through the holes and round the outside of the rim.

Thanks

Paul

The last Cooper I restored had black wheels.
